Question : What happens if load on synchronous motor is increased/decreased ??
Ans : If we increased load on synchronous motor, then speed of motor will remain constant but the angle between stator and rotor mmf increase respectively.
In addition to that , torqure supplied by rotor is increased so it require more current to produce the torque according to load torque.
So finally Armature current increase while we increase load on Synchronous Motor.
